At about 5:30 this afternoon (edt), I had my one thousandth visitor to this blog, from Baton Rouge Louisiana. That seems pretty modest compared to some websites, but I think I'm doing okay, with no pictures and only my poor skill with words to bring you all here. Thanks to each and every one of you.

Darn Lisa,
While I'm sure I can speak for everyone when I say pictures would just be a fantastic addition, I'll speak for myself and say your words alone are incredible.
Your blog entries are in fact well worded and I can feel your pleasure and fun when I read about your experiences. On top of that, when I imagine you in my head as I read your blog I can almost taste you :)

Oh my, thank you, you two. I'm not that good a writer, I just try to describe what I can remember happening. The blog would be so much better if I could describe those things I can't remember.

I'm curious how long you wait before writing and posting? You are a very good writer and the best writers do so from their own experiences. The writing though is improved by the editing. I love your posts. I hope you will continue.
hey daddyjim2. Sorry about the late response, but this was an old post and I hadn't checked the comments. I take longer to post my stories than I wish because it usually takes me awhile to figure out which "adventures" I want to write about, then I have to sit down and do the writing and I'm really pretty lazy when it comes to that. Thanks for the compliment and thanks for reading.
